Come and join ~Nois for our second Frequency Series performance of the season. Fresh off the road from the West Coast, we’ll try to bring back some of the California sun with works by Viet Cuong, A.J. McCaffrey, Nina Shekhar, and Augusta Read Thomas. Taking place at California State University, Fullerton’s New Music Festival, Afterimage is a brand new program featuring saxophone works written by each member of the Kinds of Kings composer collective. Exploring themes of contemporary life including street harassment, displacement, and living through moments of darkness, “Afterimage” is the first collaboration between Kinds of Kings and ~Nois. The concert will include two West Coast premieres by members Susanna Hancock and Maria Kaoutzani and a West Coast premiere by Kinds of Kings Bouman Fellow, composer Cassie Wieland.

~Nois will premiere works by 3 CU Boulder composition students on the Pendulum New Music Series.
Join ~Nois and the incredible Parhelion Trio at the Renee Weiler Recital Hall in the Greenwich House Music School for an evening of electrifying new music. The two ensembles met at the 2018 Eighth Blackbird Creative Lab and they will combine forces for Philip Glass’ legendary Music In Similar Motion. ~Nois will perform works by Emma O’Halloran, Georg Friedrich Haas, and Gemma Peacocke.
Join the Furies and ~Nois for a night of music at Scholes Street Studio. The Furies will perform their program "A Cure For Hysteria," featuring works by Jennifer Walshe, Olga Neuwirth, Elizabeth A. Baker, Thundercunt, and Eve Beglarian. ~Nois will perform works by Viet Cuong, Emma O'Halloran, Pauline Oliveros, and Cassie Wieland.
